Day 1Welcome to Wahat

Our adventure starts very early as we leave Cairo at 7 am in the morning heading to Bahareya oasis for a 4 hours road trip

As soon as we arrive, we check into our lodge, and have our lunch. Then we start our adventures by exploring the Black Desert. It got its name after years and years of erosion left it with a layer of black powder and rocks. Then, we delve intoto the salt lake then by sunset we head to the English Mountain where we will be able to enjoy a panoramic view over the Oasis and its palm trees.

After the sunset we head back to the lodge for our bedouin night.

Day 2The White Desert

After having our breakfast we check out from the hotel and continue our adventure. First we drive to el Hez village to see the cold spring and we resume our drive to visit the crystal mountain and the stunning aqapat area then from Aqapat we continue driving of road to cross the valleys area reaching the green spring where we will have our lunch and have a quick dip. Then we drive towards the new white desert where we look for a nice spot to make our camp for dinner and spending the night under the stars.

Day 3Goodbye Wahat

You can start your day with a beautiful sunrise in the desert, after which we have breakfast. Then we drive to the oasis of Bahareya for one last desert safari before ending our adventure and heading back to cairo. Lunch will be served on our way.

We reserve the right to change any part of the itinerary during the tour, as many of the tour activities are weather dependent and roadworks/ traffic/ group dynamics etc might affect travelling time.

Accommodation

This is a camping trip with basic facilities. The type and variety of accommodation is determined by conditions on each of our routes. For the first night the accommodation will be in a hotel with toilets available, hwoever toiles might be shared and outside the room. For the second night you will camp in the middle of the desert with no toilets available. ib both nights rooms/ tents will be shared by 2 persons.

Luggage :

We have space for each passenger to have one backpack and one small day bag or similar.
There are generally n0 porters or staff available to assist with your bags. Your bag should be of a size and weight you can comfortably manage.

Timings :

Our tours run on a tight schedule. Please do your best to be on time, all the time. Should the group miss a pre-booked activity due to late arrivals no refunds will be granted.
