Embark in 8 days’ tour combining the rich heritage of Cairo with a mystic 5-day Nile cruise. Experience. Your trip will start with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum. Then, fly to Luxor to board on a Nile cruise motor-ship. Discover captivating attractions and natural scenery between Luxor and Aswan.

Cairo – Cairo
Upon arrival to Cairo airport you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, we will take you to a cruising restaurant for an Egyptian dinner and cultural performance while cruising on the Nile. Afterwards you will return back to your hotel.
After breakfast, you will be accompanied by your personal tour guide to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx. Afterwards we go for a delicious lunch, then we head over to the Egyptian Museum to see the countless treasures of ancient Egypt. If time permits we continue to Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest and most alluring bazaar

After your check-out from the hotel in the morning, you’ll be transferred to Cairo Airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon your arrival you will be greeted and transferred to your Nile cruise boat for check in, afterwards you will visit the impressive Karnak Temple. Lunch will be served upon your return to the cruise and you will have some time to relax until the next stop. In the early evening, you will visit the beautiful Luxor Temple to live through several eras and later have dinner at the boat with a beautiful view of the Nile.
Today you have the option to wake up early in the morning and ride a hot air balloon over one of the world’s most ancient cities. Breakfast is served at the usual morning hours at the cruise. You will be joined by our tour guide for a tour of Luxor’s West Bank, famously known for the Valley of the Kings, to witness the preserved colors of the tombs of ancient pharaohs, and visit the Hatshepsut Temple and grand Colossi of Memnon. You will then return for a lunch on the cruise and scenic sailing to Edfu.
After breakfast, you will be joined by our tour guide to visit Egypt’s best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple, located in Edfu and dedicated for god falcon Horus. Lunch will be served upon your return and you will again sail the Nile to the city of Komombo. Our tour guide will join you in the late afternoon for a tour of the twin Temples of Komombo, dedicated to the crocodile and falcon gods, Sobek and Horus. You will return in the evening for a dinner at the cruise, which will set sail to Aswan.
Your tour guide will meet you after breakfast and you will start your day tour at the Aswan High Dam. After you will sail on a traditional felucca to the Ptolemaic Philae Temple, located on an island in the Nile, and then visit an ancient quarry holding the largest ancient Egyptian obelisk, which remains unfinished. After lunch at the cruise, you will sail to the Nubian Village in the evening where you will have a Nubian dinner and attend a cultural performance. You will return to the cruise at night.
Today you have the option to wake up early and head to Abu Simbel temple. It’s a 3 and half hours one way ride. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. Upon your return you will check out from the boat and head to Aswan airport for the return flight to Cairo. Our representative will assist you with all the process and transport.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by free time at your leisure, after which you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your final departure.

We reserve the right to change any part of the itinerary during the tour, as many of the tour activities are weather dependent and roadworks/ traffic/ group dynamics etc might affect travelling time.
We have space for each passenger to have one suitcase/backpack and one “carry-on”-sized piece of luggage or similar.
There are generally not porters or staff available to assist with luggage – your luggage should be of a size and weight you can comfortably manage. Hard or soft suitcases are fine.
