Upon arrival to Cairo airport you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, You will have a welcome meeting, after that you will head with your travel buddies and guide to Khan AL Khalili bazaar, located in the center of Islamic Cairo. Take a walk through this ancient city allies and its local merchants or head to Al Fishawy café for a cup of tea with mint.
After breakfast, we head with our tour guide/ Egyptologist to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx. Afterwards we go for a delicious lunch, then head over to the Egyptian Museum to see the countless treasures of ancient Egypt. Later in the evening, meet your leader and travel to the nearby train station, where you will board an overnight sleeper train bound for Aswan (approx 13 hours).
Our day starts with a guided visit to Philae Temple Complex, sailing across the Nile to the beautiful island, and stepping into Greco Roman-Pharonic temple that is dedicated to Goddes Isis. Later in the afternoon, pop on a lifejacket and grab a paddle for the kayaking adventure of a lifetime as you navigate the Nile. At night you may visit the local Nubian souq and stroll through its shops and the friendly shouts of vendors
This morning is yours to spend as you please in Aswan. If you can manage a (very) early start, the optional drive to Abu Simbel is well worth it. Cut out of a solid rock cliff, this temple’s a real winner as far as sightseeing in Egypt goes (and that is obviously saying a lot). However, note that it takes 3 hours to drive there and 3 hours to drive back, plus you’ll want at least 2 hours to explore when you’re there. Back in Aswan the evening is free to check out the town with lots of optional activities to do.
At night you may opt for a dinner with a local Nubian family, followed with a Nubian party.
Explore the farm side of Aswan on bike, cycle through the green farmlands and traditional village life, A cow pushes a water wheel, white ibises among the crops. Donkeys bring their cargo to the village, accompanied by children. Women in black, on their way to the market.
In the evening board your overnight felucca. A bit like a floating tent, a felucca is a traditional Egyptian vessel and the perfect way to explore the Nile. Please note that the Felucca itself does not have toilets or showers, however we will have access to a private support boat, travelling in close proximity to our Felucca.
Disembark your felucca this morning. While your body might be crying out for a shower, there’s one more temple to see before heading to the hotel. Check out the Temple of Edfu, where inscriptions give insight into life during the Hellenistic period when the temple was built. Continue to Luxor check into your hotel, enjoy free time to relax and in the afternoon we will take you to visit Karnak temple, the second largest complex temple in the world. If you’ve got any energy left, there will also be time to squeeze in a visit to Luxor Temple in the evening or maybe at night.
You have the option to head early for an optional adventure and take a hot air balloon to explore Luxor temples from air, if not after breakfast we visit Colossi of Memnon – two 17-metre-high statues on Luxor’s west bank. Carved from granite blocks, afterwards head to Valley of the Kings and check out three burial tombs his morning travel the short distance to discover the West Bank. Check out three burial tombs in Valley of the Kings. your fellow travelers are up for it; you can choose to finish your West Bank adventure with an optional visit to the tomb of Hatshepsut. She became pharaoh when she married her half-brother, which wasn’t all that uncommon at the time. Take a walk in Luxor market before your overnight train to Cairo.
Head back to the hotel on arrival to Cairo, today is a free day to experience Cairo on your own with lots of optional activities. You may opt for a guided tour around Old Islamic Cairo, visiting its famous land marks like Sultan Hassan Mosque, Cairo Citadel, and Khan Al Khalily area walking past the old Islamic monuments that stand watch over the bazaars.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by free time at your leisure, after which you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your final departure.

We have space for each passenger to have one suitcase/backpack and one “carry-on”-sized piece of luggage or similar.
There are generally not porters or staff available to assist with luggage – your luggage should be of a size and weight you can comfortably manage. Hard or soft suitcases are fine.

Our tours run on a tight schedule. Please do your best to be on time, all the time. Should the group miss a pre-booked activity due to late arrivals no refunds will be granted.
