Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Amman

Welcome to Jordan! Arrive into Amman, Jordan’s bustling capital.

This evening, you’ll meet your new travel crew and head to a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional mezze-style welcome dinner flowing with mint tea, fresh juices, and a variety of small dishes.

Day 2Jereash & Dead city

Kick off the day with a visit to Jerash, one of the most complete and best-preserved cities of the Roman Empire. Visit its streets, theaters, temples like the temple of Zeus and Artemis, walk the colonnaded street and other significant places like the oval plaza

In the evening you’ll go for an unforgettable visit to the Dead Sea, known for its high salinity, with amazing views and a beautiful sunset. you are opt to bob like a cork in the healing water or cover yourself in therapeutic mud. There is also the option to visit the site of Jesus’ baptism.

Day 3 Wadi Mujeeb & Petra

Today you’ll also visit Wadi Mujib, a 70-km river canyon that stretches through towns and mountains all the way to the Dead Sea. Trek through the water with your crew, beneath picturesque towering canyons.

Afterwards fuel up with local lunch then head to Petra, on the route you will visit the ancient Crusader castle at Shobak. Enjoy superb scenery and stop off at the viewpoint overlooking the Dana Nature Reserve before arriving in the late afternoon to your Petra accommodation.

*Note: Wadi Mujib is closed from November 1st – March 31st, during which the crew will adventure through another popular canyon nearby.

Day 4Petra

Today you’ll get to channel your inner Indiana Jones while exploring Petra!

This amazing place is massive, so be prepared to get your step count up. In the morning, you’ll learn the fascinating history of Petra and enjoy a catered lunch with the locals. The afternoon is free to do some exploring on your own. Pack some water and get lost in this amazing natural playground.

In the evening, you are opt to experience the incredible Petra by Night.

Day 5Camping in Wadi Rum

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out to the valley of Wadi Rum for striking views of Jordan’s unique desert landscape. 

We’ll have a desert lunch with the crew before jumping into the back of a jeep to explore the beautiful sites of the desert!. Watch the sunset over the desert at a nearby viewpoint or relax at the camp.

Day 6Back to Amman

Wake up early for an unforgettable camel ride to watch the sunrise. After, we’ll head back to Amman on a 5-hour drive. Once we arrive in the early afternoon, the day is yours to enjoy.

We’ll regroup in the late evening for one final dinner together.

Day 7Farewell Jordan

Sadly, it is our last morning in Jordan. Share a farewell breakfast with the group before everyone goes their separate ways.

We reserve the right to change any part of the itinerary during the tour, as many of the tour activities are weather dependent and roadworks/ traffic/ group dynamics etc might affect travelling time.

Accommodation

This is a camping trip with basic facilities. The type and variety of accommodation is determined by conditions on each of our routes. For the first night the accommodation will be in a hotel with toilets available, hwoever toiles might be shared and outside the room. For the second night you will camp in the middle of the desert with no toilets available. ib both nights rooms/ tents will be shared by 2 persons.

Luggage :

We have space for each passenger to have one backpack and one small day bag or similar.
There are generally n0 porters or staff available to assist with your bags. Your bag should be of a size and weight you can comfortably manage.

Timings :

Our tours run on a tight schedule. Please do your best to be on time, all the time. Should the group miss a pre-booked activity due to late arrivals no refunds will be granted.
